Five intensive days of European Dream City workshop are over, and almost all the participants are already back home. The group was really motivated, discussive and active; exactly what we were looking for. The group was divided into four groups according to the different themes of the workshop: transport, social activism, construction and planning and urban happiness. The groups were responsible for writing short reports on their themes, having introductions to all the themes and preparing their themes for the European Dream City collague. The reports and the photos of the collague will be published in this website within a few days.

The concrete outcome of the workshop, the exhibition of European Dream City, is open between 29th September and 16th of October, in the City Planning Department's Meeting Point Laituri, Helsinki.

Once again, thank you all!!

Greetings,
Taru from ViSiO

European Dream City is starting to show up to audience! The exhibition of European Dream City will be arranged in Laituri, City Planning Department's Meeting Point at Narinkka Square. Information about the exhibition can be already found from the website of Laituri. So, all we need is the photos, and that's the work of the workshoppers.
Good luck with the preparatory task! :)

Voilá! The draft program is ready and you can now find it from here. The program has been built in accordance with the wishes and interests of the participants. However, as we have a limited timeframe, we could only take a few themes in a closer view. The main topics are thus transport and cycling, sustainability of everyday life, ecological building and urban happiness. The program leaves also space for discussion and interaction between the participants, not forgetting some cultural excursions, such as experiencing Finnish sauna culture.

There might become some changes to the program while the workshop gets closer. All the participants will receive the final version of the program a few days in advance. The participants will also get the printed versions of all the documents while arriving.

Looking forward to meet all the workshoppers!
