European Dream City: Photos of Sustainable Urban Life

 

For the workshop, the participants brought photos from their hometowns or from the cities they have visited. Some of the photos were also taken during the workshop in Helsinki. All the photos serve as examples of successful urban planning and living, they are small pieces of dreams that the participants want to share with others. Together the photos are a collective dream of an ecologically, socially and culturally sustainable European city.

 

The exhibition of European Dream City is open from 29th September to 16th October 2010, in Helsinki City Planning Department's Meeting Point Laituri, in Narinkka Square. To reach a wider audience, the collague can be found also from this website.
